Divinations
Domino Divination
Most of us have a set of dominoes around the house. Few people know, however, that dominoes were used as a divination tool in China as far back as the twelfth century BC. Back then, there were thirty-two tiles and the dots were both red and black. By the end of the eighteenth century, dominoes had gotten as far as England, the colored dots were dropped and the blank tiles added. Today's sets consist of twenty-eight tiles, in pairs from blank/blank to six/six. Here is a simple method of domino divination and interpretations for the tiles.
Divination Method
Lay the dominoes face down on the table in front of you. Concentrate on your question for a moment before selecting the three or four tiles that speak to you from the set. Interpret them according to the list below:

Cleromancy: Divination With Dice
For thousands of years people have used dice, mostly for gambling and games. But it is possible that dice originated as a method of fortune telling. To divine with dice, use three instead of the two regularly used in games. Draw a circle 12 inches in diameter. Mix the dice in a cup or in your hand and cast them into the circle. If all three fall outside try again. If this happens a second time, it is not the right time to do a reading, try again another day.The basic reading consists of adding the numbers and consulting the list given below.
If one dice falls outside the circle it indicates a block to the developements shown in the reading. If two dice fall outside the circle, this warns of possible quarrels. However, if one or more fall outside the circle and the number within adds up to less than three, the dice have nothing to say.
Number Interpretations
3: Unexpected, but favorable developements.
4: Disappointments or discontent.
5: Something you want will come to you but possibly in an unexpected way. You may receive good news.
